Bokashi Kitchen Composter Sale

Bokashi Kitchen Composters are now reduced at amazon.com, with the new Kitchen Composter available at only $42.79.

Included for this sale price is a complete Bokashi Bucket with 4.75 gallon capacity made from recycled plastic resin and a starter pack of Bokashi Activator.   A spigot allows for easy drainage of Bokashi Juice.  This waste liquid can be diluted for use as a plant food or used need to clean drains with its beneficial micro organisms.

Bokashi Composting allows you to recycle all manner of food scraps, paper and tissue into valuable soil improver in a matter of weeks.  Dairy, meat, fish, cooked and processed food can all be recycled in this way.  Simply add to the bucket daily, along with a sprinkle of the activator (a mixture of beneficial bacteria and sawdust).  The scraps ferment into a product safe to bury in the garden or on a conventional garden compost heap.

With two Bokashi Kitchen Composters you can leave a full bucket to ferment for a full fortnight before burying in the garden (under a thin layer of soil or compost).  If you only have one bucket, simply bury when full.  It is ideal to leave the waste to ferment further but not critical as all the organisms to promote fermentation will be buried along with the waste so promoting its very rapid breakdown once in the soil.

Until recently Bokashi Compost Buckets have been sold at between $60 and $70 so it is great that they are now so significantly reduced in price.

Indoor Compost Automatic - NatureMill

The NatureMill Automatic Composter is the ultimate in food recycling, with absolutely no effort involved.  The unit may be situated indoors or out.  Even in winter with snow on the ground the unit is so heavily insulated that it will continue generating organic compost efficiently.

With the NatureMill Automatic Composter you can recycle virtually all your kitchen scraps in a really simple way.

Using the Automatic Kitchen Composter

The idea is extremely simple.  As you load kitchen food scraps into the top draw of the composting machine, it is dried and continually mixed.  This reduces the bulk of waste material in thecomposter by around 80% and ensures all the micro-organisms that actually carry out the act of composting can do so easily.  With air mixed in thoroughly and moisture vented off, this gives ideal conditions for extremely quick composting.  The temperature inside the unit creates a hotcomposter .  As the composting process begins heat is generated.  This heat is not lost due to the extreme insulation making up the body of the automatic composting machine.

All you need to do is plug the unit in to ensure the contents are continually mixed.  This is an efficient use of electricity only using about the same power as a night light.

Once the kitchen composter is established, you should find a new supply of finished organic compost in the lower draw every fortnight.

Because the system is using the hot composting method all manner of food stuffs may safely be recycled.  Meat, dairy and fish can all safely be recycled using the NatureMill Automatic Composter.  Really the only things not suitable for composting in this way are tough items that could clog up the rotation, primarily of concern are corn husks and bones.

But with everything else being safely composted with the Kitchen Composting Machine you should see a real reduction in the volume of food waste sent to landfill by your family.  Plus of course you have a near constant supply of free organic compost to use.

It is simple to create Indoor Compost with the Automatic NatureMill Composter.  But, so long as you have a suitable power cable you can even put it outside and still enjoy the convenience of recycling all your kitchen waste simply and quickly.
